Why A HS Youth Commission??

High School Youth Commission Clubs are an arm of the Placer County Youth Commission that work to create change and leave a lasting impact for all youth in their respected high schools. Clubs will work on addressing issues that are impacting their fellow peers and work to make changes within their high schools. HS youth commission clubs will create youth leaders as these are fully youth lead clubs.

Clubs

Consist of a group of committed high school students, working together with an adult advisor(s) to make a positive impact in their school and community.

Youth Leadership

These clubs give high school students an opportunity to lead and make lasting change within their high school communities. All clubs will be lead by the youth with support from adult advisors.

Visible Impact

Clubs will do strategic planning to discuss the needs within their high school communities and work to make visible and lasting change. All projects will be decided on by the youth in the clubs.

PLacer County Youth Commission
