To advise the Board of Supervisors and other decision makers on youth related issues

To serve as a recognized community forum to discuss youth related concerns, ideas, and solutions

To represent and improve the perception of Placer County youth

To initiate and maintain positive change in the community and its youth

To promote beneficial activities, provide service opportunities, and encourage youth involvement in the community

To better prepare youth to become responsible and active citizens
